 Born in 1972, Mauro Bonicelli’s debut in music was in 1979 at the age of 7 years, where his skills of intonation and reading gave him a leading voice role in an Italian theatre tour performing Puccini’s La Boheme. He entered the Conservatory at 11 years of age, after 4 years of piano and violin studies. He has had several appearances since 1989 with orchestras and chamber music ensembles all around Europe. Mauro is equally versed in many styles, including classical, jazz, folk, tango and rock music. Collaborations with Clive Bunker (Jethro Tull’s drummer) and Gabriel Alejandro Aguilera (soundtrack composer) are among some of his most noted partnerships. Mauro is now a violin teacher at Centro Artface in Treviso and tutor in the orchestra rehearsing of Città Sonora Pop Orchestra in Venice Italy. |
